Our services are delivered by a dedicated team of interior designers who combine creative vision with hands-on project management to bring your space to life.

2. Website Use

2.1 Permitted Use

3. Our Services

3.1 Service Agreement

Engagement of IS Design Studio for interior design services is governed by a separate, written service agreement or letter of appointment signed between both parties. These Terms apply alongside — and do not replace — any such project-specific agreement.

3.2 Design Process

Our design process is deeply collaborative. We invest significant time in understanding your lifestyle, preferences, and aspirations before presenting any concepts. As such, design services commence upon execution of a formal agreement and receipt of the agreed deposit.

3.3 Scope Changes

Any changes to the agreed project scope — including additions, revisions to materials, or timeline adjustments — must be agreed in writing between you and your assigned designer. Variations may affect costs and timelines, which will be communicated to you transparently.

3.4 Contractor Coordination

IS Design Studio coordinates with our network of trusted contractors and suppliers on your behalf. While we exercise due care in our selection and oversight, IS Design Studio is not liable for third-party delays, manufacturing defects in purchased materials, or force majeure events beyond our control.

4. Payments & Fees

Payment terms, milestones, and fee structures are outlined in your individual service agreement. General conditions include:

• A deposit is required to secure our services and initiate the design process.
• Progress payments are tied to project milestones as defined in your contract.
• All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.
• Late payments may result in work being paused until outstanding amounts are settled.

We are committed to transparency. Any variation in cost will be presented to you before work proceeds.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Creative Work

All design concepts, drawings, 3D renders, mood boards, and creative work produced by IS Design Studio remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Upon full payment of all fees, you are granted a non-exclusive licence to use these designs solely for the execution of your specific renovation project.

5.2 Photography & Portfolio

IS Design Studio reserves the right to photograph completed projects for use in our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials, unless you expressly request otherwise in writing prior to project completion. Where published, we exercise discretion in not revealing personally identifiable information.

5.3 Your Content

Any materials you share with us — such as inspirational images, reference photographs, or existing floor plans — remain your property. You grant us permission to use such materials solely for the purpose of delivering your project.

6. Confidentiality

We treat every client relationship with discretion. Information shared during consultations, including floor plans, budgets, and personal preferences, is held in confidence and will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to deliver your project or as required by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, IS Design Studio shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services or website.
• Delays caused by third-party contractors, material supply disruptions, or regulatory approvals beyond our control.
• Loss of enjoyment, business interruption, or cost of temporary accommodation during renovation works.

Our liability, where it arises, is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8. Dispute Resolution

We take pride in our relationships with clients and aim to resolve any concerns promptly and amicably. If a dispute arises:

• We will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and seek to resolve the matter within 21 days.
• If unresolved, parties may refer the matter to mediation in Singapore before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a service engagement in accordance with the terms set out in the signed service agreement. In the event of termination, fees for work completed up to the date of termination remain payable.

IS Design Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services in cases of repeated non-payment, abusive conduct, or breach of our agreement.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide notice on our website. Continued use of our website or services following an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
