Your Condo Should Feel Like a Sanctuary, Not a Showflat
Most Singapore condominiums start the same way: developer-standard finishes, an awkward open plan living area, and never quite enough storage. You have invested in the address — but the space does not yet feel like yours.
IS Design Studio shapes standard condo layouts into personal sanctuaries. Every project begins with a site assessment before any proposal, so our spatial planning, materials and lighting recommendations fit your actual unit — and your actual life. The result is liveable luxury: a home with calm sophistication that works as well as it looks.
Thoughtful Space Planning
From open plan living rooms to compact two-bedroom condo layouts, we plan every metre around your daily routines — not showroom fantasy.
Materials, Lighting & Feature Walls
Warm wood tones, natural stone and layered lighting bring depth to your living room, kitchen and bedrooms — with a feature wall only where it earns its place.
Storage Without Clutter
Bespoke carpentry conceals the everyday, so a small condo lives large and a luxury condo stays serene.
Condo Interior Design, By Condo Type
Compact One- and Two-Bedroom Units
Small condo interior design is an exercise in editing: built-in storage that disappears into the walls, furniture that earns its footprint, and a layout that lets a compact home feel open and calm.
Three- and Four-Bedroom Family Homes
Family condos need zones as much as rooms — storage for every stage of life, a kitchen that handles real cooking, and a material palette that holds the whole home together.
Resale and New Launch Condos
Older developments bring generous layouts that deserve rethinking; new units arrive with developer-standard finishes. Either way, we decide with you what to keep and what to change, so the budget goes where it matters most.
Renovating a Condo in Singapore: What to Plan For
Condominium renovation runs on two sets of rules: what you want for your home, and what your development allows. Most management corporations (MCST) ask for renovation plans before works begin, collect a refundable renovation deposit, restrict works to set hours and require lifts and common areas to be protected. Some also restrict changes to windows, balconies and anything visible from outside.
We plan around these rules from the first site assessment, so the design you approve is one your development will accept. And because our carpentry is fabricated at our own factory rather than built on site, more of the noisy, dusty work happens away from your neighbours — and the precision of your kitchen cabinets and wardrobes is controlled by the same team that designed them.

Condo Renovation Questions, Answered
How much does condo interior design cost in Singapore?
Every unit is different, so we do not quote from a price list. We begin with a site assessment, then propose a design and a transparent quotation matched to your scope, materials and timeline.
Can you design small condos and one-bedroom units?
Yes. Small condo interior design is about editing: multi-functional furniture, built-in storage and space planning that makes a compact footprint feel open and calm.
Do you renovate two-bedroom and three-bedroom condos?
These are our most common projects. For 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom condo renovations we focus on family-friendly layouts, storage and a cohesive material palette across the living room, kitchen and bedrooms.
How long does a condo renovation take?
Most condo renovations with IS Design Studio take between 8 and 14 weeks from confirmed design to handover, depending on scope and material lead times. We map out a realistic timeline with you at the proposal stage.
Do I need MCST approval to renovate my condo?
In most developments, yes. The management corporation usually asks for renovation plans before works begin, a refundable deposit and adherence to set working hours. We help prepare what your MCST needs and design within its rules from the start.
Can you keep some of the developer finishes?
Often, yes. Many new condos come with flooring, kitchens or bathrooms worth keeping. We assess what is in good condition at the site visit and put the budget where it changes the home most.
Do you build the carpentry yourselves?
Yes. Our carpentry is fabricated at our own factory, so kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and feature joinery are made by the team that designed them, with quality control from raw material to installation.
